Rupert & Scheetz featuring Vanessa Viscomi present a Night of Irish/Scottish music at Titusville Presbyterian Church, Heritage Room, March 11, 7 p.m.
On Saturday, March 11, the Titusville Presbyterian Church presents RUPERT & SCHEETZ featuring VANESSA VISCOMI for a two-hour coffeehouse style musical concert from 7 till 9 p.m. This concert is a St. Patrick’s Day show featuring mostly Irish/Scottish themed music. Bruce Rupert will be on vocals, guitar, fiddle, banjo and mandolin; Tim Scheetz on vocals, guitar, bass, tin whistle; Vanessa Viscomi on vocals, ukulele; and Preston Henderson on bodhran (Irish drum) and percussion.
Rupert & Scheetz is a songwriting team comprised of Bruce Rupert and Tim Scheetz. Singers and multi-instrumentalists, their original compositions reflect their love and appreciation of many musical genres with elements of Americana, folk, country, bluegrass, Rockabilly & Celtic sounds exhibited in their songs and instrumentals. Bruce and Tim have been a part of the local music scene for the past 20 years, playing with “Mountain Heritage”, “The Beth Coleman Band” and currently appear with “StoneHearth” and “The Gray Wolves.” “Stories,” their last album of all original songs, recorded with bluegrass band “Mountain Heritage,” was released in 2020. Vanessa Viscomi is a classically trained vocalist, whose styles range from jazz and blues to Rockabilly and classic country. She also plays ukulele, piano, and drums. Throughout the years Vanessa has enjoyed working with many talented musicians. She is very excited to collaborate with “Rupert & Scheetz” and sing their original songs!
